Mr Ramez Bassari is a specialist Bariatric, Upper GI, Laparoscopic and General surgeon. He completed his surgical training (FRACS) in 2012 in New Zealand. After this he spent 4 years of sub-specialist training in the fields of Bariatric and Upper GI surgery. During this time, he trained with world-renowned surgeons in both New Zealand and Australia.

Procedures he commonly performs include surgery for gall bladder/gall stones, hernias, weight loss (gastric sleeve, banding, bypass), and gastric reflux. He is also GESA-accredited to perform gastroscopy, colonoscopy and interventional endoscopy.
